    How are the discs printed?

    We print your artwork on CDs and DVDs with a white, printable coating (no stickers!). Our high resolution inkjet printers produce clear, bright, vibrant colours. Alternatively, we can thermal print black text onto shiny, silver discs. This is a more cost-effective option and is popular for simple and practical promo CDs.

    For an added layer of protection, the printed disc can be coated with a protective, UV-cured lacquer. This UV coating also gives the disc an eye-popping glossy finish. We recommend it for dark coloured or bright, vibrant artwork.

      Implant Media offers a full range of vinyl pressing options including 7”, 10”, and 12” records, coloured vinyl, 180gsm vinyl, test pressings, custom sleeves, inserts, stickers, shrink wrapping, and download cards.
      Most vinyl pressing projects are completed within 12–14 weeks depending on the project requirements and whether test pressings are included. Some projects may be completed faster by discussing turnaround options with the team.
      Yes. Implant Media strongly recommends ordering test pressings so customers can check the sound quality and overall production before the final vinyl run is completed. Two test pressings are usually supplied for review.
      Audio masters can be supplied as WAV or AIF files in 16-bit or 24-bit formats at 48kHz, or as DDP file sets. Implant Media also recommends mastering audio specifically for vinyl production.
      Artwork should be supplied as print-ready PDF files prepared to Implant Media’s specifications. Templates are available to help customers correctly set up vinyl sleeves, labels, and packaging artwork.
